Presentation of the service
Athena is an online service that lets a community centralize recruitment, attendance, training, documentation, and operational coordination in a clear and reliable interface.
Each community has its own spaces and internal rules. The platform provides the technical infrastructure; community administrators remain responsible for their local organization and the content they publish.

Hosting
Status as technical intermediary
The portal may host content published by users and communities. The publisher acts as a host for this content within the meaning of applicable regulations and may remove or make inaccessible any manifestly unlawful content following a report or detection.
Intellectual property
The portal’s structure, interfaces, brands, texts, graphic elements, logos, icons, and databases (where applicable) are protected by intellectual property rights.
Any unauthorized reproduction, extraction, reuse, representation, or adaptation is prohibited, except for legal exceptions or prior written authorization.
Liability
The publisher uses reasonable means to ensure the availability, security, and reliability of the published information, without guaranteeing the total absence of errors, unavailability, or alteration related to the Internet.
You remain responsible for how you use the information and features offered on the portal.
Applicable law
Unless mandatory rules provide otherwise, this site and its legal notice are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts are determined according to the applicable rules of procedure.
Terms of Use
Purpose and scope
These terms of use govern access to and use of the online service Athena, including the features made available to users and to the communities hosted on the platform.
By creating an account, logging in, or using the service, you accept these terms and the additional rules published on the portal, subject to their compatibility with these terms.
For paid offers, the terms and conditions of sale supplement these terms of use.
Description of the service
Athena provides community management, training, documentation, communication, and operational coordination tools for recreational, educational, or organizational purposes.
The scope of available modules depends on the configuration and the rights assigned in your community.
User account
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your data up to date, and keep your login credentials confidential.
You are responsible for actions taken from your account. If you suspect fraudulent access, you must immediately change your password and notify support.
Rules of conduct
You agree to comply with applicable laws and not to publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, violent, harassing, fraudulent, or infringing on third-party rights.
Also prohibited: identity theft, attempted unauthorized access, disruption of the service, introduction of malicious code, and mass data extraction without authorization.
User content and moderation
You remain responsible for the content you publish (messages, attachments, texts, media). You warrant that you hold the rights necessary for its distribution on the platform.
Community administrators and the publisher may, according to their prerogatives, moderate, remove, or restrict access to content that does not comply with these terms, the law, or the community’s internal rules.
Availability and changes
The service is provided with an obligation of best efforts. Interruptions may occur (maintenance, technical incident, force majeure, infrastructure changes, security).
The publisher may change, suspend, or withdraw certain features for technical, legal, or security reasons.
Intellectual property
The components of the service (software, architecture, interfaces, documentation, brands) remain the property of the publisher or its partners.
No assignment of rights is granted hereby, apart from the right of use strictly necessary to use the service.
Suspension and termination
The publisher may temporarily or permanently suspend an account in the event of a serious breach, security risk, suspected fraud, or at the legitimate request of a competent authority.
Users may request the closure of their account according to the procedures provided by the platform, subject to legal retention obligations.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of opportunity, loss of business, or loss of data resulting from non-compliant use of the service, an act of a third party, or force majeure.
Governing law and disputes
Unless mandatory provisions provide otherwise, these terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties first seek an amicable solution before any legal action.
Modification
The terms may be updated to reflect technical, legal, or functional changes. The current version is published on this page with its update date.
Continued use of the service after a new version is published constitutes acceptance of it.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
Scope
These terms and conditions of sale apply to orders placed online on the portal for paid offers provided by the service publisher (for example, creating or upgrading a community, pay-as-you-go options). They supplement the terms of use.
The essential characteristics, the price including tax, and the duration of the commitment are presented before the order is confirmed.
Order and formation of the contract
The order is formed after payment confirmation or, where applicable, after express acceptance of the offer displayed on screen. An acknowledgment or confirmation may be sent to the email address associated with your account.
Price and payment
Prices are shown in euros including all taxes when VAT is due. Payment is made through a secure payment provider; you accept that provider's terms insofar as they apply to the transaction.
In the event of payment refusal or proven fraud, the order may be canceled and access to the affected features suspended.
Service delivery
Access to paid features is opened after payment is actually received or within the usual technical delays (a few minutes in most cases). If a difficulty persists, you can contact support using the contact details published in the legal notice.
Right of withdrawal
When you act as a consumer within the meaning of the Consumer Code, you have fourteen days to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to give a reason, except for legal exceptions (notably when performance of the service began with your express consent before the end of the period and you acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal).
To exercise this right, send a clear request to the publisher’s contact details within the allotted period. Refunds, when due, are made according to the terms provided by law.
Renewals and cancellation
When an offer is recurring, the renewal, cancellation, and expiry terms are restated at the time of subscription and in the account area or related communications. Cancellation at expiry does not entitle you to a refund of the period already begun, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Legal guarantees
Independently of these terms, you benefit from legal guarantees (notably conformity of the goods or digital service under the conditions of the Consumer Code when you are a consumer).
Complaints and mediation
For any complaint about an order, contact first the department indicated in the legal notice. Failing an amicable solution, you may use consumer mediation or any other remedy provided by law.
Applicable law
Unless mandatory provisions are more favorable, these terms of sale are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the competent courts according to ordinary law rules.
Personal data protection
Data controller
Processing necessary for the technical operation of the platform (account, authentication, security, administration, support) is carried out by the operator of the Athena service.
Depending on the organization in place, your community may act as a separate or joint controller for certain local purposes (internal recruitment, training tracking, member management).
Categories of data processed
- Identification and contact data (email address, account identifiers, username, profile information).
- Usage and contribution data (messages, attachments, interactions, training progress, event participation).
- Technical and security data (application logs, session information, login traces, anti-abuse indicators).
- Administrative or billing data when a paid feature is enabled.
Purposes and legal bases
- Service delivery — account creation and management, access to authorized spaces (contractual performance).
- Security and continuity — incident detection, fraud prevention, logging (legitimate interest and legal obligations).
- Regulatory compliance — responding to authorities, accounting obligations, evidence and legal defense (legal obligation).
- Optional features — processing enabled on the basis of consent (for example certain non-essential trackers), revocable at any time.
Recipients
Data is accessible to the operator’s authorized personnel and to your community’s authorized administrators, within the limits of their duties.
Technical processors may be involved (hosting, transactional email, payment). They act on instruction and under contractual security and confidentiality obligations.
Retention periods
Data is kept for the time necessary for the purpose of the processing, then deleted, anonymized, or archived with restricted access according to legal obligations and evidentiary needs.
Transfers outside the European Union
When data is transferred outside the EEA, these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards provided by regulations (adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, supplementary measures where applicable).
Security
The service implements appropriate technical and organizational measures: access control, encryption in transit where available, logging, access segregation, and backups.
Your rights
Depending on your situation and the applicable legal framework, you may exercise the following rights:
- right of access to your data and to information about the processing;
- right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- right to erasure in the cases provided for by law;
- right to restriction of processing in certain situations;
- right to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- right to portability of the data provided, where technically applicable;
- the right to withdraw your consent at any time for processing that depends on it.
To exercise these rights, use the form Exercise your rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
