The platform
Built to command a unit
Athena brings together what a MILSIM community needs day to day: people, doctrine, training and the link to the field.
Why Athena exists
Too many units still rely on a mix of Discord, spreadsheets and lost messages. Athena offers a clear foundation: each community gets an isolated space, roles, documents and a dashboard. Leaders stay in control; operators find what they need quickly.
Who it is for
Staff who structure the ORBAT, trainers who track courses, recruiters who process applications, and operators who check briefings, manoeuvres and roleplay identity. Athena also serves federations hosting several communities on one platform.
What changes in the field
Beyond the web portal, COMSPEC ATAK connects the Arma session to command: map, contacts, medical alerts and oversight. The goal is not to replace radio, but to align what everyone sees before, during and after the action.
Principles
- Data isolation between communities
- Readable rights and responsibilities
- Path from recruitment to debrief
- Optional tools depending on the community plan
